Hi lovelies! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter Sunday and spent time with ones they loved!
I have decided to take a little break from blogging for a bit. It may be just a week or it might be longer. I have just had so many things going on in my life lately that I need to sort out and I need to take some time to slow down and take care of me. I’ll be back soon enough… much love. xox
This jewelry by Heather from My Selveged Life is absolutely up my alley! I love the way she takes unusual and unique items and creates stunning pieces of wearable art. I wish tomorrow was my birthday because any of these would be a perfect gift!
One thing I love about Easter is seeing all of the creative ways people decorate eggs. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you haven’t. Unfortunately, I can’t really remember the last time I dyed easter eggs…I think it was probably a few years ago. My favorite thing now is to see the eggs my niece decorates. It seems at her age the fun part is just getting to dip the eggs in the dye…I don’t think she really cares what color it actually comes out to be…brown would be just fine by her. Do you still decorate Easter eggs?
I have a thing for big ‘ole envelope clutches that zip….and so now I have a thing for coriumi. They are so fun and practical and price so well! See more at her shop and find her on Facebook, twitter, flickr, and her blog.
You know those days you want to wear something super comfy but look fashionable?….nailed it! I’m falling head over heels for these designs by Emily Ryan. They are just up my alley because I love combining fashion and comfort! I think my favorite pieces above are one and six….what’s yours?
I am dreaming of climbing into the bed above. There is just something to me that is so calming and luxurious about linen bedding. It is so soft and natural and it really just makes a room more sophisticated. Did you know that linen bedding is:
high resistance to tension or friction
antibacterial
antistatic
airy
one of the oldest fabrics
hypoallergenic
moisture absorbing
biodegradable and environmentally friendly
Moods Store on etsy has a simple and beautiful selection of linen bedding that won’t break your bank. Their fabrics are softened and pre washed so they are delicate and pleasant to the touch but they don’t lose all of their benefits listed above. You can purchase a 3 piece queen size set for $295! Besides bedding, they also sell items for your kitchen, dining, bathroom, and nursery. What’s your favorite color…white or natural?
i’ve always dreamed of a house with a fireplace and this one is just so simply breathtaking. I love the white brick! (via apartment therapy)
There is something about industrial lighting that I am so drawn too. These light fixtures in this kitchen are so clean and absolutely stunning! (via pinterest)
A lot of times customers will come in to where I work and be so afraid of mixing patterns…I need to print out this photo and bring it with me so I can show a lovely example of how it can work! (via emily a clark)
If you are new to Pinterest, you have a friend in me! Feel free to follow my pins and share the love.
There is just something about twin bedrooms that I love. Most of the time they seem to be for, well, kids….BUT sometimes people will buy two twin beds to furnish a room where they may have guest frequently. It’s a great way to give someone their own sleeping space…I know it’s not much space but, at least you don’t have to rub up against someone you don’t want to. You can make them super bright and colorful with that young at heart feel or you can make them feel more adult and sophisticated. I’m excited to get a chance to design a room like any of these one day…
Today I am in love with all of these lamps. I can almost picture them in the space and location of where they would be nestled in my home. Which one is your favorite?
